The Story
Kamichama Karin
Kamichama Karin
Karin is just an average middle school student. She has terrible grades and is a poor athlete. She lives alone with her aunt after the death of her parents when she was young. But after the death of her beloved cat Shii-chan, her luck changes. Karin soon discovers that her only inheritance from her mother, a mysterious silver and pink ring, can help her transform into a goddess with the help of Athena. Soon after, she becomes friends with others with rings like hers and they try to solve the mysteries surrounding their lives.
Kamichama Karin Chu
The adventure continues in Kamichama Karin Chu with the main cast now in the eighth grade. As Kazune comes back from his trip to London, Karin and the gang are back together again. Karin and the gang travel through time, along with a new comrade: a celebrity named Jin Kuga, fighting a new enemy, the Seeds of Chaos. Besides Jin, there are 2 more new characters: Karasuma Rika and Suzune. Rika is later revealed to be the Karasuma Himeka from the future. Suzune is a cute little boy, actually Karin and Kazune's future child, that appears to Karin to warn her of the danger. Rika seems to be trying to make Jin their comrade. And to Jin, Karin is apparently "his goddess".
The Characters
Kamichama Karin

Hanazono Karin
Karin is the protagonist of the series. Her name literally means "The Flower Bell of the Flower Garden," with the "Flower Garden" as her family name and "Flower Bell" as her first name. Karin used to live with her aunt because her parents died a long time ago, but she moved in with Kazune and Himeka after they found out about her goddess powers. She is an outgoing person, and sticks up for her friends. The ring Karin originally thought was her mother's ring allows her to borrow godly power. Her ring is pink and has the power of the goddess Athena (Aphrodite in Chu). Karin, at first, was in love with Karasuma Kirika but later falls in love with Kazune and still is. It is later revealed in the last volume of Kamichama Karin that Karin was actually twisted through time by Professor Kujyou, back to her youth as a baby, and he erased her memories of being 'Kujyou Suzuka'. That's the real reason Karin is able to transform and use 'Kamika'(a God's power). She also has a fondness of eel bread. |

Kujyou Kazune
Kazune is the main male protagonist. Kazune is a smart, cool, good-looking boy. He is the sun god (Apollo in Chu, he has the power of Uranus), and is extremely powerful. While Himeka loves bugs, Kazune hates them, partly due to his fear of them; In Kamichama Karin, It was revealed by Himeka that Kazune's fear of bugs developed when he had tried to save her from some bugs when they were little, but instead, fell into a ditch where the bugs started to attack him until he passed out. ) Even though he is a clone of professor Kujyou Kazuto, he is incomplete and passes out after transforming in god form. Sometimes he is a jerk (for example, saying how stupid girls are) to Karin. He is in love with Karin. Kazune knew all along that Karin was Suzuka's clone. |

Nishikori Michiru
Michiru, also known as Micchi, is an exchange student from England. Being very amorous, he often makes romantic advances at Karin as well as Kazune. Micchi is also an orphan: his parents were killed in a car accident. Kazune's "father" saved him and gave him his ring. He is in the same grade as Karin but is older than his other classmates because he spent a year in the hospital. He knew about Kazune and Karin being clones. In Chu, his ring has the the power of Neptune. |

Kujyou Himeka
Himeka is Karin's friend and Kazune's "cousin". She is very important, and she is one half of a goddess, of which the other half is Kirio's younger sister, who is also named Himeka. When one Himeka becomes stronger, the other becomes weaker. Since she was a young girl, she has always defended Kazune, who was a bit of a crybaby. She is a very nice girl, with a slow speech, loves bugs, and is a good cook. Like Karin, she does bad in school. It is later revealed that she is Kazuto and Suzuka's daughter. In the festival episode, it is revealed that her crush told her her outfit (sumo mawashi) looked weird. This crush was Kazune. She also witnessed Kazune and Karin kissing (anime only; to replace Ami). |

Karasuma Himeka
Kirio and Kirika's sister, and the other half to Kujyou Himeka. In the beginning of the series, she is unhealthy, and spends most of her time in bed asleep. She is portrayed as evil for splitting some of her life with the other Himeka, but she is only a container for Karasuma Kirihiko's research and therefore highly protected by the Karasumas. In the anime, Himeka is shown frequently in the house (once she went out to the school festival) but in the manga, Himeka is rarely seen. |

Karasuma Kirio
Kirio is the main antagonist. He is the student body president of Sakurakaoka Academy. He tests the protagonists and fights them outside the campus. Karin refers to him as "Mr. Glasses Man." (meganekko) or "Four eyes-san." His only true relative is his twin sister Kirika, but he does have another sister by the name of Himeka. In the anime, when he is defeated, his exit is like Team Rocket, and says "It don't finish Kujyou". His ring has the powers of the god Ares. Later in the series, his ring is destroyed by Kazune. |

Karasuma Kirika
Kirika is Karin's prince charming at the beginning of the series but later is found out to be a girl. In fact, she is Kirio's twin sister. Kirika is unwillingly forced to fight Karin because of the other Himeka and her brother Kirio. She gives help to Karin and Kazune when her father revives through her brother, Kirio. In goddess form, she is Nyx, the goddess that Kirio sent out in the first book to see if Karin was actually a goddess. |

Shii-chan
Nike is Karin's cat, also known as Shii-chan, that died and then was resurrected by the goddess, Nike, who lived inside her. She helps Karin now by giving advice and by turning into a shield. In one instance, Karin uses her as a projectile. |

Kujyou Suzune
Suzune is from the future. The son of Kazune and Karin. He has Kazune's looks and Karin's eyes and is a cute little boy. Suzune's name is written with the second kanji in Karin and Kazune's first names. His name literally means "bell sound".He travelled from the future to warn karin about danger in the future. |

Karasuma Rika
Mysterious girl who sets the Seed of Chaos. The seed caused Karin's Chronos Clock to reverse. She calls Kirio her brother('Nii-san'). In chapter 14, she finally reveals that she is Karasuma Himeka from the future. She also has her own Chronos Clock. |

Kuga Jin
A popular idol, he has the power of Hades. His missing mother has a blood relationship with Karasuma Kirihiko. He has a crush on Karin and calls her "his goddess". He and Kazune are rivals for Karin's love. |

I used to like Mermaid Melody but now it's KCK all the time. And just to let you know I am learning Japanese by myself. Anyway my knows how to speak french and she is gonna help me. Anyway I just got braces, didn't hurt at all! Well hope you guys have a rockin summer!
